| Artist's Statement: | |
| I see my work as a journey from simplicity to complexity through the manipulation of form. Using traditional precious materials and handskills in a process of construction and repetition, I create contemporary studio jewellery with a sculptural presence. Process is key in the development of my designs which continue to evolve whilst at the bench in an exploration of volume and movement. Recent work represents both organic and geometric forms where symmetry and asymmetry co-exist and the use of a restrained pallete combined with surface patination is employed to create an innate sense of elegance. | |
