| Artist's Statement: | |
| The diversity of all forms of landscape fascinates and excites me and is the main inspiration for my work that explores a combination of texture, photography and drawing to convey an emotional response to my surrounding landscape. The photographic images are sometimes collaged with fabric and stitching that has been a direct influence of the study of woven and printed textiles from Asia and the use of digital printing onto different sorts of fabric gives my work a tactile quality that is very unique. I produce one off pieces for commissions and also open and limited edition artwork. My latest collection of limited edition work uses stitching to make each work of an edition completely different and so original in its own right. | |
