| The mundane, unpredictable and downright absurd nature of this life are the main sources of inspiration in my work.I choose to paint the things for one reason or another I would like to remember. In the time since leaving art school I've kept my head above water by working in mainly dull and unimportant jobs and continuing my education at the university of life. I've tried to record this through my work - the daftness and hilarity of a budget hotel kitchen, an Italian Kitchen with serious food and even more serious people and a more recent spell as "Le Breakfast chef" where I'm famous (within Breakfaast chef circles) for frying the best eggs in town. Don't ask me how, I just do. |

| I sometime also allow nostalgia to creep up on me and when it does I like to take a trip down memory lane. It's here that I remember with faraway eyes the wild drunken debauchery of those student days when I were just a lad, so free of the nonsence that earning a living involves. |
