| Stephen Guy Roberts has broad ranging experience of large design and decoration projects. He has extensive experience in planning and co-ordinating decorated schemes for high-profile clients (Brunei and London). Liaising with interior-designers, chartered surveyors and site managers. He has worked within a team and on own initiative within specific budgets and tight deadlines with speed and efficiency. Stephen has developed his own projects concurrently for small group shows of paintings for specialised galleries and portrait commissions. He has also organised and worked on large mural commissions, decorated painted panels, ceiling designs as well as painted treatments for walls and furniture. Colour co-ordination and matching. | |

| Artist's Statement: | |
| I consult with the client to discuss the scope of the mural and decorative scheme, show samples if required and discuss pricing. Once it is established what might be required I can offer outline sketches or more detailed mock-ups and an idea of how long the work might take. As far as preparatory sketches are concerned if the job proceeds to completion they are part of the price. Should the project be aborted I would make a charge by prior arrangement with the client. Wherever practical I would advise work to be done on canvas away from site and installed on or near completion. I usually work with one assistant but can employ others for larger projects. | |
