| For me, capturing that defining gesture, that special attitude is what makes a painting so exciting. Whether its a human figure or a McIntosh apple, the lines that give a subject life, is what art is all about. |

| Education: |
| Technically, I am self taught, but I have had guidance along the way: first, at a very young age with my father and more recently with Maria Orban and Graham Nickson, dean of the NY Studio School. I've attended 3 of his Marathons. |

| I seldom do commissions unless it's something I'd do anyway, like an old Victorian House with lots of architectural detail. |

| My goal has always been to strive to reach the next level. I believe a work of art has its own spirituality and passion and its very own voice. |
