| Robert Antell Paintings |
| Robert Antell specialises in portraiture and figurative drawings using coloured pastels. He works independently or to commission either for private customers or for publication. He studied graphic design and illustration in Bristol and graduated in 1982. He has had illustration work published in print format and distributed worldwide by Europe's leading fine art publisher, Rosenstiels Limited. In addition, his prints have featured in Good Housekeeping Magazine. Ranges of his greeting card designs have been on sale in many prestigious outlets such as The National Trust, The V&A Museum, Crabtree & Evelyn, Harvey Nichols and The Pier. Traidcraft commissioned Robert to design a range of cards exclusively for them; these were featured on the front cover of their spring catalogue. As a graphic designer he has worked for an impressive list of clients, including: AXA, BMW, HTV, Royal Ordnance, AA Travel, Vickers plc and Sun Life. |

| Artist's Statement: |
| Robert works in pastels, this enables him to to capture light, beauty, movement and moments in time. His influences are mainly the French Impressionists, he also is influenced by 14th and 15th century italian art.Robert (46) has spent time living in Cornwall and Bath, and now lives in his home town of Bristol with his wife and two children. |
