| Artist's Statement: | |
| My work and I evolve together and through many levels of experience, often springing from an emotional base. At times the result is unpredictable and must be wedded to the practice of technique. As an artist born and working in New York City, many of my images are generated from an intimacy with the urban environment and its absurd realities. The act of turning toward and away from a source simultaneously, the competing forces of dark and light as shifting pairs of opposites, and the tenuous balance within chaos are motifs which I continue to explore, often through a whimsical eye. | |
