| Artist's Statement: |
| I find abstraction to be the best medium to explore endless symphonies of colors and forms, a feeling and intuitive rather than a cerebral process. I consequently let paintings create themselves, never planning or knowing what will emerge from the blank canvas. The adventure and discovery is what is exciting to me. Although nature is an inspiration, it is in a sense an invisible world of energy, harmony, tension, unity, an aspect of the subconscious which eventually takes form in oil, pastels or mixed medias on canvas or paper. |
