Artist's Statement:
I am designing accessories for the more discerning consumer at a time when the fashion industry allows for more individuality and designer confidence. Handbags and leather goods should be seen as fashion statements and ‘pieces’ in their own right and not necessarily simply in terms of the more mundane and practical”. Each bag is handmade in the UK and bears the emblem of the hippocampus, the Polly Isabella logo that was hand-designed in collaboration with Polly’s cousin, Peter Weevers. Polly's collections comprise the practical with the fantastical, perhaps reflecting the diversity of Polly’s character.
