| I was born in Lancashire and moved down to Somerset to continue my art studies. I spend my time between Somerset in England and the south of France where I have a house near Montpellier and work primarily in the landscape of that area. | |

| I went to Rochdale Art College from 1970 till 1973 and Corsham Art Collge near Bath from 1973 till 1975. I spent a further four years at Bath College of Higher Education, now Bath University, in 1987. | |
