| Greg Gierlowski Applied Art |
| Greg's fascination with light led him to developenew concept for displaying translucent artworks framed in BAP that frees it from neccessity of being placed windows or door thus dependace on daylight. It also allows the user to direct light to parts of artwork that enhance it. |

| Self-taught, except for 2 year practice in a studio of Tiffany's student and collaborator in Chicago USA in late seventies. |

| Selected Commissions/collections: |
| Many commisions for artistic lights and stained glass panels in Poland, including restored historic residences and private houses. Also glass for Heineken's stylish restaurant De Dre Gesusters in Groningen, Holland. |

| A dozen solo exhibitions throughout Poland and one in London. England in 2004 |

Two dozen particitations in group exhibitions
in Poland. Three other were international - two in London, England in 2004 and one in Berlin, Germany in 2005. In all three qualified art festivals of all media Greg was the only polish artist invited. |

| Artist's Statement: |
| Light in visual arts and music are passions of my life. With first two, I try to depict third one -the music. On the other hand I try to follow Tiffany's motto to paint with glass, not on it, remembering about light. |
