| After completing a Foundation in Art at Farnham and a higher Surrey Diploma at Epsom School of Art and Design, I worked as a freelance illustrator for advertising, editorial and design purposes – specialising in fashion illustration.I currently divide my time between painting and teaching part-time for adult education. My subjects included drawing & painting in oils, pastels and watercolour and also portrait and life. I believe in a structured but relaxed approach to teaching, which includes demonstrations of painting techniques. I am a regular exhibitor at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the Pastel Society at the Mall Galleries and a number of provincial galleries. |
