John Naccarato Biography
Our actions define us. They shape and break us, causing us to move forward or backwards. It is the consequences of our actions that teaches us to live, to learn, to understand sometimes with the most dire of results. Actions are the paintbrush with which we paint our portrait. It is with this most elemental philosophy that I approach my work. Art is essentially a portrait of ourselves. The portrait may exist in the diffused pastels of a landscape, the quick awkward paint stroke of a figurative, or the damning silence of a still life.
